My Story
Neecee Blackwell has had the privilege of doing what she loves as her vocation for many years, ART in many creative avenues. Neecee has had the thrill of traveling the art festival and comic convention circuit for many years selling her journals and artworks. These pieces she appropriately calls her “Random Acts of Artwork”.
Her business, Crooked Tree Graphics, was established in January 1991. This company started as a tee shirt screenprinting and graphics business. Through these 34 years, it has changed into making and selling handmade books called "Junk” Journals and her artworks.

The handmade "Junk" Journals, are made from unwanted junk mail (hence the name)
recycled papers and reclaimed cardboard boxes,
most of which is rescued from the landfill.
They are hand bound with bookmaking techniques and most of the covers include prints of my
artwork in pen and ink, pencil, and acrylic or watercolor paintings. My artwork is often included
on inside pages of some journals, as well.
Most of the journals have a wrap-around bedazzled elastic or cord closures
to keep your treasures safely tucked inside.
These journals can be custom made to your theme and no two are the same.
